Can Tungsten Carbide Rings Ever Scratch?

Tungsten carbide bands can only be scratched or damaged by extreme measures such as abrasion from diamonds or corundum. Furthermore,  activities that would normally require the removal of conventional wedding bands for their protection can be performed without concern by the wearer of a tungsten wedding band.

While extremely strong and resisted to scratch, tungsten carbide is a bit more brittle than traditional metals used in wedding bands. Most of the products offer in the market covers warranty even for the unlikely event of your tungsten carbide ring chipping or breaking. Additional life warranty is also available for the sizing, polish, and texture of the tungsten carbide wedding bands.

Tungsten carbide wedding bands combine traditional precious metals with tungsten carbide to create a unique and exclusive piece of jewelry with a style, polish, and texture that will last a lifetime. Tungsten carbide wedding bands with metal inlays such as sterling silver, platinum, palladium, rose gold, white gold and yellow gold are the trend nowadays and make sure you get one for you and your partner for your memorable occasion through Amazon.

The tungsten carbide portion of the ring will maintain its original polish and luster for life, while the softer inlaid precious metals will eventually develop a nice textured appearance over time, creating an attractive contrast against the lasting polish of the tungsten carbide.

I just saw some YouTube videos from Tungsten World scratching different metals, and the tungsten wedding bands were the only ones that came away scratch free! I think it's safe to say that my fiance will be getting a tungsten wedding band because of all the handy man repairs he makes around the house!

I've just noticed a scratch on my Tungsten ring. I'm just now investigating why/how this would have happened. This article says that only diamonds or corundum can scratch the ring!
I just don't know how this happened.
Ring has been on my finger now for over 6 years without scratches.
